The Sun
From dusk to dawn
In her silence we slumber…
At dawn she awakens
She greets the heavens with her faint whisper
Bathing the skies with a wash of red
As her rays reveal and the stars are concealed
She mask the moon with Her gradual gleam
She greets the nature of the heavens
As the birds sing with songs so dulcet
And morning glories awaken from their timeless slumber
To witness Her splendour, Her magnificence, Her majesty
Drawn by the Heavens
She soars
As she radiated her beauty
Form 92,955,820.5 miles away
Life on earth
Engaged in awe and reverence
Enveloped by the warmth of Her smile
Enamoured by Her ceaseless bliss
She is out to play
A game of Hide-and-Seek
With the clouds up high
But if ever they cry
She evaporates their tears
And disperses Her rays
For a rainbow She bestows to cast away fears
Dusk approaches
Humbly She descends
With such grace...
Such poise…
Such elegance...
As she peeps amid mountains
She casts a golden glimmer upon the sea
As artists try to harness Her eternal beauty
Before She fades, Before She is unseen
But She leaves each day with a promise to return
A promise…never broken…
